Field Operation (FO)

For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” (Romans 10:13-15)

God uses His people to fulfill His plans and purposes. The preaching of the gospel to the unreached nations is no different. How can they believe if they have never heard? How can they hear unless someone tells them? In His authority, God has given the task of preaching the gospel to those who have never heard it before to His people, His disciples, His Church.

Each summer and winter, Christians from all around the world step out in faith to take the gospel of the kingdom to the people and the places where the gospel has never been preached before. Trusting in the Lord, guided by the Holy Spirit, they go to places worship upon lands that no Christian has set foot in thousands of years, and preach the gospel where the gospel has never been preached before.

“You go in faith, and you really see how God works, the things that He brings in your path and the things that He ordains for you to see or the people He ordains for you to meet. It really grew my trust in Him.”

“The people of the unreached nations are so ready. They’re so open; that’s the reason we need to go because there are so few of us, but there are so many of them that are so eager to listen. They’re waiting for the truth.”

“It’s really not what you know. It’s not up to us; it’s not the knowledge that we have. It’s really just a matter of going and being a vessel that God can use. Being someone that the Holy Spirit can speak through. And if there are open souls, God will lead you to them.”

FO is unlike any other short-term mission trip. You will receive a deeper understanding of who God is and His desire for all tribes, tongues, peoples to return to Him. You will witness the fulfillment of the Great Commission with your own eyes and participate in the fulfillment of God’s history!

The specifics of each FO will depend heavily on the spiritual condition and field realities of each nation.

Field Operation FAQ

Who can go?

ANYONE! Only requirement to participate in FO is completion of Vision School.

What do you do?

For 2-3 weeks, go and share the good news! You will learn the language and culture of the unreached people group you are serving, eating with them, crying with them, praying with them.

When do we go?

Every summer and winter

Where do we go?

To the unreached nations in the 10/40 Window! To places and people who have never had the opportunity to hear the truth of Jesus Christ before.

Why do we go?

To fulfill the Great Commission! “Go, make disciples of all nations...” (Matthew 28:18-20)
